Media Keyboard

I just bought a computer with a media keyboard from DELL. It has 15
pre-programmed keys such as: back, forward, stop, refresh, homepage, email,
my computer, calculator, etc...

Does anyone know a way to reprogram one of these keys to do something else,
like open an application... show desktop... or something useful to me...

Sure--go to Control Panel, Keyboard, Key Settings and change what you want.
