I have a D-Link G520 wireless network card that was working fine with my
D-Link 624 wireless router until I tried to install a new driver from
Microsoft. Now I get a Media Disconnected status from 'ipconfig /all'. I
tried uninstalling and reinstalling the card and drivers, but it just adds
another network setting in the registry that doesn't work. Thank you very
much Microsoft! I also tried the command 'sfc /scannow' but it also wasn't
successful. If anyone has a solution, please share it with me. Strangely
enough I can still see the wireless network from the D-Link properties, I
just can't set the IP because it's been disconnected.
