MechWarrior 4 Mercs. Lock up

I've had the game for a while. Now it locks up after loading a mission with
the error "Stop invalid allocation, 0 bytes.". I don't have any of the
hardware conflicts listed on the self help. Please advise.

Hi Ty,

Does it lock up only on one specific mission, or on all missions?
