ME to win2k

We have an old ME box and when using the My network neighborhood to connect to shares in the Win 2k Pro box it asks for a password at Resorce \\computername\IPC
So what password is set at what level and where can I find it to get rid of it so i can allow free access to the shares with the ME Box

1. Create some account on the Win2000 PC, e.g. "Timothy".
2. Log on as "Timothy" on the WinME machine, with the same password.

If unsure about Step 2 above, repost in a WinME newsgroup.
