i have a corrupt program with loader.exe and ledll.exe. i have used startup disc but still get error. should i delete me and start over? will i lose data? thank you

Rename loader.exe to loader.ex_ and reboot. Do you still get the same behavior? And yes you will lose all your data, everything if you remove Windows ME by "Starting over" unless you save the data elsewhere.
