Hey,

Quick question: i'm trying to use an access 2003 database with database
security. i don't know where to place the .mdw file so i can still access
the database on vista. on windowsXP, the location was:

C:\Documents and Settings\hj\Application Data\Microsoft\Access

Does anyone know the unc for vista?

You can put it almost anywhere. Wherever you decide, just join the workgroup
at that location. I usually use:

C:\Windows\System32\secure.mdw

On modern operating systems this may not be the best choice because
the location may not be accessible to mere mortals. For example on
Windows 7 c:\users\public may be a better one.
Or a network location.
