McAfee VirusScan Online Instant Updater not recognizing my registration

Message posted by McAfee that their VirusScan Online is
not recognizing my registration or receiving my promots
to log in. They claim the affected OS is Windows XP
Home, Windows XP Professional and Windows 2000
Professional. I printed their directions on how to edit
the Registry, to no avail. Any suggestions.

check if there is any patches avalible on they're site
for windows xp. if there is none then how long have you
had it for??? because i know that your regestration runs
out after one year with Norton Antivirus. if all else
fails then try reinstalling it.
