My computer keeps giving me a message about updating the McAfee Secuity
Center program. Also it continues to keep on poping up the program
automatically and it don't sceem to stop doing it while I'm working in the
computer. Thank you

Mcafee is really junk software...To try to eliminate the update problem, set
mcafee updater to manual (if you can get it to),you'll also need to edit it
in
task scheduler (again, try to),mcafee by default tries to update every 5
minutes.

Other will tell you McAfee is not what you want, but it is what you have now.
Have you allowed it to update? Antivirus and antispyware program should be updated daily, and must
be updated at least once every week or you have not protection.
McAfee is also a subscription based program that you have to pay for every year (could also be only
a 90 day subscription if it came with your PC). Have you paid your subscription?

When the subscription runs out consider changing to AVG. www.grisoft.com

McAfee seems to have worked for two years, at least no viruses
have been detected and Comcast began to provide it and upgrades
as part of their cable connection nearly a year ago. Comcast in
no financial bargain but it usually functions reasonably well.
