P.J.
I have been using McAfee Security Center that came with my new Dell.
When trying to schedule my virus scan I am getting the error msg
"0x8007007a: The data area passed to a system call is too small"
I have been told by McAfee tech support
"Microsoft has admitted this to be a known issue on some configurations, as
indicated by MS KB article 264522"
This patch can be obtained by having the contacting Microsoft support
stating that you need the hot-fix for article Q812400 and upcoming article
Q812960. A free support case will be created for you to get the update. All
this will be done by Microsoft.
I have tried to find these patches as well as request these patches from MS.
I keep getting the run around and I'm told to contact Dell for my support.
Any ideas or help would be appreciated.
