McAfee not working right

Hi could any one help me with this problem
every time i try to scan my pc with McAfee virusScan it starts scaning then
after a bit it just stop's as if it's crached and it won't let me close it
it's just stuck and when i tryed somthing else on McAfee like look at the
fire wall a message come's up saying McAfee not responding end now

Can't really offer specific McAfee advice other than the generic
why spend time trying to get a product to work that you've paid
for. Both McAfee and Norton exhibit these same kinds of quirky,
erratic problems just getting the programs to simply work.

You might try to use the McAfee Virtual Technician(?):

There are other more effective/less costly solutions to security
for your PC. Some are even cost free ( AVG, Avast ... ).

I agree with the sentiments expressed by R. McCarty.

How much RAM memory? How large is your hard disk and how much free
disk space?

Select Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk CleanUp
to Empty your Recycle Bin and Remove Temporary Internet Files. Also
select Start, All Programs, accessories, System Tools, Disk CleanUp,
More Options, System Restore and remove all but the latest System
Restore point. Run Disk Defragmenter.
