McAfee Event Scheduler

When I boot up, I get a window telling me that "McAfee Event Scheduler"
has encountered a problem and needs to close. This wouldn't bother me,
but the damn thing comes up at least six to eight times while I'm
booting!

Anybody else have this problem? Any idea what to do about it?

That is NOT an XP problem. It's a McAfee problem. Get them to fix it or
remove their ware and cancel your credit card charge if no joy.
