mc access

we recently converted to ms office 2007. somehow in the process we lost our
individual permissions in our access db. users can still access the db but
can only view the data. no one seems to have the rights to edit anymore and
we don't even seem to have the ability to give out rights. how do we get
the permissions back? and if they have to be reassigned how to we get
someone to be able to login with the rights to assign permissions?
thank you

It may be you're no longer using the correct .MDW file. Do you still
have the old shortcut that used to work? It will likely say something
like:
<path_to_old_msaccess.exe> <path_to_your_mdb> /wrkgroup
<path_to_your.mdw>
Make a copy of this shortcut and change the first part to point to
your new msaccess.exe (by default in C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office12).
