Im buying: INTEL Pentium D 805 2.66 GHz, 2x1 Mb c., LGA 775, BUS 533 MHz,
Prescott, EM64T, Dual Core, BOX

but im not sure if all MBOs support dual core?

Please give advice or suggestion?

I was thinking beetwen these two:

1.
MBO INTEL, s. 775, D955XCSLKR, 955X, BUS 1066 MHz, serial ATA, RAID, 7.1
zvuk, 1Gbps, DDR 2, BTX

2.
ASUS Socket 775 P5GDC DELUXE Intel 915P, FSB 800, 4xDDR / 400, 2xDDR2 600 /
533 / 400 dual channel, PCI-Ex16, 3xPCI-E1, 3xPCI, U / ATA100x1, U /
ATA133x2, S / ATAx4, RAID 0, 1, 10, 5:SATAx4 ports, RAID 0, 1, 0+1: ATA133x4
ports, RAID 0, 1: SATAx4 ports, Gigabit LAN, 2xIEEE1394a, 8 channel audio, S
/ PDIF-out, NATIVE DDR2 600, AI NET2, AI NOS, WinDVD Suite bundle, HT, ATX

Or something else...

The Asus boards that would work are listed here. Since the 805 processor
is a recent addition, expect to have a few problems finding
the correct minimum BIOS version, for this to work immediately.

The P5P800 SE uses DDR and has an AGP slot, in case you
want to reuse some older hardware. I only mention this,
as many of the other boards will use more modern technologies,
like PCI Express video cards, and/or DDR2 memory. I believe
there are some other brands of motherboards that offer an
LGA775 socket, AGP slot, and use DDR memory. The worst part of
a board like this, is the ICH5 Southbridge, and that part
can fail, if some electrostatic discharge enters a USB port.
Otherwise, a board like this can help reduce the cost of
transitioning from an older S478 motherboard.

You can find feedback on the motherboards, by visiting the Newegg
site and looking at the customer reviews for each motherboard.
Or for Asus, they have a forum.

http://vip.asus.com/forum/topic.aspx?board_id=1&model=P5P800+SE&SLanguage=en-us

Plenty of useful information - "P5P800 SE Lan Problem"
http://vip.asus.com/forum/view.aspx...d_id=1&model=P5P800+SE&page=1&SLanguage=en-us

The reviews done by web sites are not a very good source of info,
as they don't spend time reviewing that all the peripherals work
properly. And it can take a fair number of web searches, to get a
good feeling for how many problems a motherboard might have.

Thanx a lot. I ll do more research. I just want it to work fine without any
complications.
I was thinking about Gigabyte GA-8I945G Pro. It looks good.
I was also thinking about taking PCI-E card...
