What does "volume goes up and down automatically" mean, exactly? If you
are playing a song in WMP does the volume go up and down constantly?
How often does it happen? Is this volume shifting happening in every
application? Does it merely happen when changing from one application to
another? Are you using the "internal" volume controls in the various
sound-generating apps or are you using the "master" or are you using all
of them?

thanks for your replies.

sorry for not giving a clearcut problem statement.

the phrase 'goes up and down' means the sound comes out
from my speaker is goes up and down (not the volume level in the
control panel > sounds).
for example, if i play a playlist it starts with one volume level and
goes down suddenly after a while.
again it goes up after some time. there exist no clear pattern of this
up and down.

like xandros, i also believe this is not a bug. but wondering whats
the reason behind.
i reinstall is OS and exhaust all the possibilities i know to get rid
of this problem.
nothing works.

another point i would like to share is, the problem persist for all
sounds except voice sounds from messengers.
as you know sometimes cable/socket makes this kinda sound trouble. but
if it is so then it will also create
problem in voice from messengers. but voice sounds are 100% ok.
