may be counterfeit, not genuine Windows

About a week ago I started getting this message. I rebooted and it stopped
for a few days. Then it came back? I reboot, it stops, then after a few
more boots, it pops up again. I have a fairly new 3 GHz dual core, 1 Gig
RAM, 200 gig HD machine that I purchased new with Vista Home Preium. Also, I
have Vista SP1. What would start this kind of behavior? .

Um, SP1 is in BETA and if you're not a BETA tester, you have no business
installing it. Remove the BETA and see if your problems are solved.

What you should be saying is that people have no business installing Ubuntu
or Open Sores software on their PC's. Get with the program.

I backed out SP1 and I still get this now and then. Also the update you
reference won't install on my machine, says "doesn't apply to my PC".
What now?
