maximum recipients

Hello,
I am trying to find out what is the maximum recipient
number that Outlook 2003/Exchange 5.5 can send in one
email. I have a user that is trying to email to 2000
recipients at once. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe our administrators send out messages to that many people at once,
but I haven't counted the list of recipients.

I would think you could have a virtually unlimited (well,
maybe 65536, seeing as how that's a common limit
number)... I would say you're more limited by the
processing power of your server... if it's not 2000
people inside your exchange org, then it would probably
take a while for it to clear all the SMTP queues out to
the internet
