Max desktop size

When connecting the max desktop size that I see is
1600x1200 (or Full Screen). Is that a limit on the
software or is there a way to increase that max size? I
have a dual monitor system (2 * 1280x1024) and I would like
to use the whole screen for remote desktop but even when I
choose Full Screen it just uses about half of the whole area.

Your resolution for Windows remote desktop is single monitor only related.
If you want to be able to use a larger resolution for your remote desktop
usage, you need to use something like UltraVNC.

The solution that I found to for me was to maximize RD on
one screen so it would run in full screen mode on one
monitor and the other monitor would be completely local. I
could then run some apps on the local (Mozilla, Outlook,
Office) and the rest remote.
