Master Document Format

I have a master docment with a dozen subdocuments. How can I get Word to
consistently start each subdocument on a new page?
 
Presumably, each subdocument would begin with a name like "Section 5."
Assign a style to this heading, and use the Paragraph menu to assign the
"Page break before" to this style. Then format every occurrence of the
heading with your style.
