Master Character Set Conflict

Suddenly when I click send to send a normal email (without attachments or
anything other than normal text) a box comes up entitled "Master Character
set conflict" and asks me if I want to send it as an encoded text or as is.
I have never had to do this before. What should I do to prevent this?

Tools, Options, Send, International Settings. Make sure you are using
either Western European (ISO) or Western European (Windows).

If the problem continues, go back to Tools, Options, Send, and uncheck
"Reply to messages using the format in which they were sent".

Suddenly this afternoon, I started getting this same message. It was working
fine an hour ago????? I tried both of the fixes you suggested neither has
worked. What else can I try. Thank you so much for your help. STephanie

The only other suggestion I can think of is to try upgrading to the
newer Windows Live Mail:
