Master Browser Messages

Hi, all,

In the Event Viewer System logs, am getting an error
(repeated many times) that more or less says "The Master
Browser has receive a server account from the computer
conference that believes that it is the master browser for
the domain an transport.

net.BT_Tcpip_

B6038737-0B99-4BC"

This machine has a fixed ip address on a peer-to-peer
network, behind a dsl router - workgroup, no domain.

Thanks!

John

Assuming it says 'received a server announcement' from a computer named
conference, then my first thought is: are you rebooting any of the machines?
When the thing reboots, it may be causing a browser election and the newly
rebooted machine thinks, ok, I'll the the master browser. This stuff'll
drive you crazy. I wouldn't worry about it too much. It is possibly
indicating a communications problem, but if your other services work ok and
you can browse the network ok, you can probably just ignore it.
