Help Needed,
My Processor fan burned out as did my Power Supply. I replaced them both
and now am unable to Boot and gain access to my system, programs or data.
My computer has lost its MASTER BOOT RECORD. When I try to boot I see the
following:
GA-K8NS-Ultra 939 F5
CPU clock frequency : 200Mhz
DDR Dual channel Enabled
Detecting IDE Drives...
IDE Channel 0 Master : None
IDE Channel 0 Slave : POINEER DVD-RW DVR-107D 1.10
IDE Channel 1 Master : None
IDE Channel 1 Master : None
IDE Channel 2 Master : S_ATA1-Maxtor 6L250S0 BANC1G10
IDE Channel 3 Master : S_ATA2-HDS722516VLSA80 V340A6MA
Raid Utility looked like this:
0 PM Maxtor 6B160M0 156334MB
1 SM Maxtor 6B160M0 156334MB
* Set 0 SiI Striped Set <PM> 312666MB
0 PM Maxtor 6B160M0 Chunk Size 16K
1 SM Maxtor 6B160M0 Chunk Size 16K
* First HDD
PRESS ANY KEY TO REBOOT
_
How do I rebuild the Master Boot Record? I want to be able to Rebuild the
Master Boot Record without loosing anything currently on my hard drives.
Note: My Primary and Slave drives each have 3 partitions
C:\ Main
H:\ Hal
I:\ Games
D:\ DVD-RW
E:\ Data
F:\ Graphics
G:\ Music
Any help to recover from this problem will be appreciated.
Thank You!
