Markups appear automatically

I have several Word Documents that contain markups and tracked changes. I
want to take these off so they do not appear automatically when opening the
document because I need to send it to several people. I have taken them off
and saved the document, but the next time I open it they reappear. How can I
hide these so not everyone sees them?

Hiding markup does not remove it. You must Accep All Changes in Document and
Delete All Comments in Document in order to actually remove the markup.
