Marking read when not read -- have checked all options

For ONE user, emails are showing as marked read when she has not read them
yet. I have checked Tools | Options | Reading Pane and neither of the two
"mark as read" options are checked. Also, she is not using the Preview Pane.
Does anybody have any other idea of what it might be?? Thanks.

Does she have any rules?
