Mapping a Drive for All Users

we are trying to provide a TSapp server that our users can connect to from
outside the network via the internet. We are having a hard time getting a
mapped drive to work the first time that a new user logs on.

We mapped the drive under a local user's profile and then copied that to the
local default profile. It works, but only after the second (yes, second)
time that the user logs on. The first time the user logs on there is no
mapped drive. But log off and log back on and the mapped drive is there.
Any ideas as to how this can be set up so that the mapped drive is there on
the first log on?
