mapped drive disconnecting

I am networking four computers 3 of which are running
win2000 pro and one using winXP pro. The problem I am
running into is when I map a network drive onto the win
XP computer it disconnects at any logoff, or restart. I
am trying to figure out how I can create an automatic
logon to the network drives located on the winXP
machine. I am not too familiar with winXP and have it
working on all of the win2000 machines, so any
suggestions would help me greatly.

did you check the box that says automatically connect on reboot?
 
Yes I did check the box that says automatically connect on
reboot, but it doesn't seem to be doing the trick. Any
other suggestions would be great.
