MAPI spooler and Outlook 2000

I have an e-mail stuck in my out box in Outlook 2000 on my laptop. It says
that MAPI spooler has started. It will not let me delete, open or move the
message and has locked any attempt to send or receive e-mails.
I am VERY sorry that I asked this question in another post as I did not see
the reference to XP. This was partly due to being very frustrated with the
machine and then finding what I thought was a solution to the problem. It was
NOT a thread hijack attempt!

You did not specify your version accurately enough, nor the steps that
caused your problem.
