MAPI Error ?

W2k with Office 2k on Dell Inspiron 7500 Laptop

I have recently rebuilt my system, following which I ran a Norton WinDoctor
to find potential problems. That resulted in the following message:

"c:\winnt\system32\mapisrvr.exe cannot access necessary file gapi32.dll"

I then found the missing gapi32.dll which was located in
c:\program files\Common files\system\mapi\1033\NT

Do I need to relocate or copy this file; if so to where?

You can move a copy to system32, but Windoctor is not a good utility for Win XP. It causes more problems than it solves. Don't use it.
