How can I get a lost dll back? I ran Norton's WinDoctor and in
C:\Windows\System32\Mapisrvr.exe is missing the dll gapi32.dll. What is
Mapisrvr.exe and what does it do?

Forget these false alerts. If ain't broken - don't fix it.
The file "gapi32.dll" should be found somewhere in this path:
\Program Files\Common Files\System\MAPI\...
What is Mapisrvr.exe and what does it do?

Why don't you check its file properties:

| Extended MAPI 1.0 für Windows NT

Best advice, don't install Windoctor and if you do think of it as an
amusement.

I'd rather take the chance of a 6-Flags amusement park ride where they
paid off the local code enforcement official to link 10 combustable
trailers together with no exits or fire protection.

Hmmm, come to think of it. Last time in an Atlantic City Casino all the
emergency exit doors were chained and locked, for security reasons, of
course.

Of course me with my big mouth asked for the manager regarding such, and
he said dont worry, the guards will unlock the doors in case of a fire.
Hmmmm, will a minimum wage guard unlock the doors or run for his life so
they dont get trampled......
