Trying to send invoices from Simply 2008. Error message says mail account is
not MAPI compatile. What does this mean? I was using Outlook - now running
vista and using Windows Mail.

It may mean that you no longer have Outlook, also known as the MAPI client,
installed.

Thanks for the info. Now what can I do so my simply will send invoices via

As far as I know, you need to install Outlook, version 2003 or later, or a
software package containing it. Version 2002 may work.

Windows Mail is a Simple MAPI client like Outlook Express, not a Full MAPI
client like Outlook.

How old is the post of Frank that you are replying to.??

What was your original post and your issue. Can you repost it here.
The reason being is that Frank is no longer with us . He passed away a while ago. We
all miss him and his knowledge

I believe you will need to use full MAPI client, like Outlook.
No one has yet figured out how to use mail merge with Windows Mail or
Windows Live Mail.
