Many open apps on taskbar

Is there a way to be more specific on the open applications buttons on the
taskbar? For instance, if I have SQL open 4 times, they all say Microsoft
SQL Server Management Server, it doesn't tell me which domain/server each
one is open to. Is that changeable?

No. The program code controls what's displayed there, and you have no
control over it. Like you, there are times when I'd like to change it, but
can't.
