Taskbar Problems

I have a problem with windows and taskbar. I like to call it Windows Taskbar
Problems. but enough of the humor, Here's my problem. When I minimize a
window, usually it would pop-up on the taskbar so I could open it at any
time. Well, it's not. I can tell that they are runnin because task manager
says that they are running. When I minimize, it minimizes then dissapears
into the taskbar, right on the edge of the start button. I can, of course,
use task manager to get to each of my programs, but it takes time. Quick
Start basicly the only thing on the toolbar. Please Help
