no buttons for open programs on taskbar

All of a sudden there are no buttons showing on the taskbar of a client's
Windows 98 workstation. Word, Time Matters and Outlook are open, but no
buttons on the taskbar. Any ideas? Thank you.

It didn't fix after restarting her computer once, but when she did it a
second time it corrected itself. Thank you all anyway for your steady and
unbending triumph over Microsoft program errors!!

That's so funny! I will be laughing the rest of the day from that one. You
are exactly right, Wesley, and that's exactly what I told her. Unfortunately
she is employed by a company that is soooooo cheap - they are still all using
WordPerfect 5.1 for DOS, so I don't think it had any effect. Thank you so
much for the great chuckle, though. I really needed that today. Awesome.

Why aren't you posting to a win98 newsgroup? This one is for XP OS issues.

If she had XP, you would then be posting in the correct newsgroup. ;-)
