manually uninstall ie6sp1

Hello,
I installed ie6sp1 on win 2000, because have a program
that cannot work on it.
I cannot remove it from the add remove program.
I need a white paper describing how to manually uninstall
it so I can install ie5.5 sp2. Now it will not let me do
that because I have a newer version.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
