IE6SP1 download problem

I am trying to download IE6 service pack 1 in order to
fix another problem(IE crashes when you click on certain
java script bases web pages. MS has a fix for this, but
it requires IE6SP1.)

IE6 SP1 won't download to my computer because it says I
have a later version of IE. I have the following version:

IE6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633

So does anyone know why I am getting this message?

"Setup has detected a newer version of Internet Explorer
already installed on this system. Setup cannot continue"

Hi,
You *do* have a later version than SP1... xpsp2.

Look for help with the Java problem at
http://www.mvps.org/inetexplorer/answers_9.htm and http://javatester.org/

You could repair IE, but you will have to reinstall all updates.
