Manual reseal and hiding the "FBReseal" window on 1st boot?

I'm trying to clone an XPe image after it's been resealed. On all of
my clones, on first boot there is a window that pops up titled
"FBReseal" and a text message that says "Resealing in progress..." I
don't understand why this window appears on my clones. Some
background:

I'm doing a manual Re-seal before cloning by setting the Reseal Phase
to 0 (Manual), then I go through FBA on my Master system and after
it's complete I do a few post-FBA operations such as installing some
software. Then I run the \windows\system32\Fbreseal.exe utility and
when it's done it gives me the option to Shutdown or Reboot.
According to all instructions I have read, it's important at this time
to Shutdown and NOT reboot before cloning the system.

So I Shutdown the system and then use this image for cloning.
However, every clone then boots for the first time and pops up the
"FBReseal" window mentioned above.

I would rather this message not appear on my clones as it's not very
user friendly if it is seen in the field on first boot. Is there a
way to hide this? Or am I supposed to go through this phase *before*
I clone the XPe image to another system? Is this message normal or am
I doing something wrong? There is very little discussion of it on the
newsgroups.

This appears to me to be changed behaviour since FP2007. I have no idea
how to solve it. I'm still having my own problems related to FBReseal.

It appears that this is an error and it should say "Cloning in progress..."
It is generating the SID so there is nothing to worry about.

How do you shut down your system? What version of XPe are you using?

I've used XPe SP2 and FP2007 (with roolups) and whenever I use FBRESEAL I
just get a button to re-boot the system. something like "Click OK to Reboot"
no option to shutdown.

What we do is click the OK button and when the system starts to re-boot (you
get the BIOS screen) pull the power from the system. It's important not to
let the system start to boot XPe otherwise new SIDs will be created.

I know when we first started using XPe a couple of years ago we turned off
the power when we got the reboot prompt and things were not happy. (I can't
remember the exact symptoms). We never tried using windows shutdown instead
so can't tell you if that's your problem.

Another thing we found that you need to watch out for. Don't let your new
target system re-boot during the FBA. We ended up with two of every user
account on the system because we had a watchdog in the BIOS which we hadn't
disabled at initial startup. It triggered at the wrong time and caused all
sorts of problems including our SQL server not starting. A bit of a side
issue but worth looking out for.

If everything is going OK and you still can't get rid of the reseal messages
it might be worth adding the folowing registry value to disable all messages
during boot. (gets rid of all the "windowes is starting up" and "loading
user profiles" messages.)

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\system]
"DisableStatusMessages"=dword:00000001

my mistake.
despite using FP2007 and Rollup 1 i was using the old FBReseal.exe
(i kept it in a seperate directory so i could re-seal again if i had to)

the new FBReseal.exe has the option to either shutdown or restart.

thats's a vast improvement. you don't need to be so quick on the power
switch......

I also now see the "Resealing in progress" message on my clones when i boot
them for the first time. As Sean says it's just a mistake in the message
