Manual internet time update fails.

While attempting to do a manual Internet time update I received the
following error message:

"An error occurred getting the status of the last synchronization. Element
not found."

I was online when I attempted this update and tried both time servers.

The reason I attempted the update in the first place was that my system
time had inexplicably changed itself to some random date and time in
January 2003.

Any ideas how I can get this functionality back?

Use another time server - that's what I did.

A list of the Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) time servers that are available on the
Internet

Just type in the combo listbox.
No registry editing.
