I'm looking for a manual in .PDF or other downloadable format for a
Micron Millennia Pro2 Dual Pentium Pro circa 1996 or the Micronics
W6-Li motherboard that's used in this PC.

Kind of early for web documents. If you can't find it on Micron or
Micronics web site it doesn't exist.

I owned a bunch of these machines and I recall that there
were obscure varients of the mobo that I learned about
only when I had to RMA one undr warranty. I don't
think it affected the user's manual.

Thanks for the reply. I have the original small 3 ring owner's manual
but it's pretty useless. I read several references to an 80 page .PDF
in various NGs for the Micronics mobo and Micron had their manuals in
downloadable form but it's now switched to MPC and they don't have
much to offer for older stuff.

I picked up this PC last weekend in like new condition for $40! I was
able to go online to MPC.com, enter the serial number and D/L a
printout of the system configuration as shipped new in Nov. 1996. It
has the first revision mobo. It also has a Bus Logic BT-930 SCSI card
instead of the Adaptec AHA 2940 card.

It only has 32MB of memory and a 2.1G HDD. It's currently running
Win98. I'm surprised at how fast it is with that "small" amount of
memory and 200Mhz CPUs. In 1996 a 32MB stick of memory was almost
$1200!

I found some cheap memory and larger HDDs on Ebay for $30. I'm going
to put NT4 and several Linux distros on it when I get the new drives.
I want to learn how to set up a small web server for myself.

Chas.
