At Work there is a online system called Gemini which you log issues. The user
who logs the issue is sent an email whenever the status of these issues
changes (i.e. on creation, fixing and closer of these issues)
The subject of these emails send contains the issue id number, the state the
issue has changed to and a description of the issue.
It's my job to fix these issues and so what I was wondering was, is there
anyway I can create a rule in Outlook 2007 which will create a task when it
receives an email with "fixed" in the subject and then mark that task as
complete when it receives an email with "Closed" in the subject.
Currently I've got the first bit covered as it flags any emails with Fixed
in the subject but often when I close these issues on the Gemini system it
leaves stray tasks in my Outlook
Anyone got any ideas???
