manifest parse error at the highest level of the document

XP install problem.
Gettin this error; manifest parse error at the highest
level of the document.

Please can you help me with what this error is and how to
resolve the problem and intall XP.

Chris;
That error usually means a bad burn of the CD.
Use the original CD and/or clean the CD and drive.
