Malware

I have managed to pick up some Malware which opens my
browser on a page called 'Search For' on running Ad aware
it says it is a registry item from 'Coolweb' that even
when deleted doesn't work. Ad aware cannot remove it
either and I cannot change my default home page.

Any ideas on how to remove this (And on how to give the
perpetrator some sevre pain and suffering would also be
welcome as it is now getting annoying!
