malfunctioning exchange rules

Outlook rules seem to be malfunctioning throughout the office. Unfortunately
the rules malfunction sporadically. The rules we have setup are very simple
rules. The biggest problem is that interoffice email is going right into
deleted items. Is there anything that I can check on the server side. I
would hate to tell everyone that they have to delete their rules and recreate
them.
