Making the My Documents folder private

Hello,
When I try to make my documents folder private on my desktop by
clicking the Make this folder private box in the Sharing tab of folder
properties, it doesn't accept it. What happens is that when I click apply it
just unticks the box again. So I am unable to make the folder access private
between users. How can this be done?

The exact situation would depend on whether you're using XP Home Or Pro.

You also need to be using an NTFS filesystem to do this - it's possible
yours is FAT32, which does not allow permissions.
