making references lowercase

I have index markers on headings that are originally in title-case.
Is there any way - besides editing the markers - that I can force all the
index entries to be entirely lower-case?

Hi Shari

Try editting you fieldcode within the index as follows:

1. Go to the index
2. Toggle view to fieldcode
3. add the following to that fieldcode: \*lower
4. it could look something like this (example): {INDEX \c "2" \z "1043"
\*lower}
5. select all - F9 to refresh

This should do the trick
