making programs available for all users on my computer

i just bought this computer and assigned 3 different
users for it. how do I get programs that i download on
my user login to be available to all users of this
computer?

just don't download the files to "My Documents" folder or My desktop.

Hi,
Log into each user account and install the program. This way the program
would be available to all the users.
