Making money by gaming --- it can be done !!!

Yup its true. Whilst being laid up I had loads of free time and looked into ways of making some loot whilst gaming. So far I have made enough loot to buy a game in the Steam sales. An the loot keeps on pouring in. This last sale was my biggest earner so far,

Boy oh boy Christmas is going to be great this year.

Yep I've sold a fair bit on the Steam marketplace. Only things like trading cards and such. The real money is in CS:GO crates and skins.

and that is by no means the most expensive thing on there, just the first one I clicked on.

I haven't got a clue about some aspects of Steam, including this community marketplace. Just had a quick look and it seems I have 164 badges. I wonder if I can sell them cos I really don't have any desire to own various sets of pixels residing in the ether.

And I wonder if I have anything else to flog that I don't want or need? Hmm, needs investigating.

I've just looked at your inventory Flops (you're on my friends list) You've got loads of trading cards, you can either craft them into badges or put them up on the market, but they won't be worth much, a few pence each.

Even the booster packs aren't worth a lot, maybe if you turn them into gems and put them on the market it might be worth more.

Can you sell gems then ?

I am like Flop's in not knowing how the Steam universe works. Took me ages to figure out how to sell trading cards and even longer to actually sell them.

In my opinion this is a waste of time as the amount of money you will earn gaming will be very low. Better just play games for entertainment purpose totally.

We that is the wife and I have been to Las Vegas (we got Married in the World Famous Little White Chapel in2001) and have visited there 8 times since. I have won on the slots Down Town in Freemont Street enormous amount of $760 that is when you walk away but have seen people win thousands of $. We were in Excalibur walking through the casino when there was a massive fanfare a big bang with confetti and lights flashing and a lady had won $7 million on one of the slots. So it can happen.

Well you know how I used to break Windows well you wouldn't believe it I broke Linux Mint Cinnamon. Luckily I had a back up so all OK now. But I have to say it is the first time since Dec 2015 which is a record for me.
