Making IE my Default Browser

Hi
I recently installed Firefox as a secondary browser and during the
installation process I must have indicated that I wanted it to be my default
browser ( or perhaps I did not !!).
Anyway when I use a link (eg. in an email ) Firefox delivers the relevant
Web page. I do not want this to happen!
I cannot find how to specify that I want Internet Explorer to be my default
browser though it must be there in the multitude of options available in IE.
Can someone help??

IE-Tools-Internet Options-Programs.
Check the box "Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the
default browser"
Close IE and reopen it.
