Making IE forget passwords

There are a couple of sites where IE (or XP - I'm not
sure) has "remembered" both my login and password. I've
tried to make IE forget these entries, but can't seem to
find where they are stored. How does one go about
deleting these stored things. Deleting cookies and
deleting files doesn't help.

In IE click on tools then choose Internet Option. Next Click the content TAB then at Personal Information click 'Auto complete'. Settings for and option to clear passwords is located here...
