i have an acer aspire laptop 3680 and another acer aspire 5050. neither gave
me the option to create a boot disk.
my 3680 lcd screen cracked, i removed it and hooked it up to a monitor when
i found out the system was corrupted. and of course, no disk to boot up.
i did however create one with my 5050 laptop. thru acer empowering
technology. in the acer recovery management screen.
clicked burn disk, and selected create factory default disk. requires 2
dvd's. but as of yet it seems to be working. my 3680 laptop is loading it
now. takes over an hour. we will see if it worked.
