Being old and senile sucks. I want to print a sign on regular typing paper
and don't know how. Any of you guys and gals got a suggestion. All answers
appreciated

You will need to tell everyone what application program(s) are available,
and generally what you want the sign to say or show.
(Text & Size, Picture, Graphics, etc.)
Word processors can generally deal with text only, and provide different
font sizes as well. Programs such as microsoft paint can deal with simple
graphics and text, and possibly pictures to some extent.

Generally signs are printed in landscape (long side of paper up/down) to
allow the use of larger size text on simple signs. (FOR SALE)

Okay you reminded my old brain that I have PSP 7 and it's easy that way.
Thanks a lot.
