what about dfi's bios. from most people i know. its very easily corruptible... ever had any problems with it yet floppy?

Nope. It has about five different Bios's you can save. Overclock too far and seize the machine, just reboot and select a different Bios.

Geil Memory pretty good value stuff

Hi,

Geil ram seems to be the best value for money as OC's do 1GB Dual channel for about £100. And it has a heat spreader on it (I assume this is better than one without)

I think my MB is dual channel enabled (it's an intel 800FSB HyperThreading).

Do I have to do anything to enable the dual thing when I put the memory in, or is it automatic?

As long as its all the same speed. dont worry about it. it will read as ddr as is.
